WHO WE ARE

Engineering, manufacturing and application support

Our work brings together mechanical design, motion control, software and custom fixturing. We develop cutting equipment for applications in optics, photonics, infrared imaging, laser systems and scientific research.

Our company overview includes a 1,300 m² facility and a 25-member team, supporting equipment development, assembly and application work.

Start with the workpiece

Material, blank size, finished geometry and downstream processes determine the equipment configuration. Sample testing helps establish suitable tooling, feed settings and the allowance needed for subsequent grinding or polishing.

Achievable thickness, surface quality and cycle time depend on the material, workholding and selected machine.

Technical capabilities shaped by the application

Optical material focus

Application work covers optical glass, fused silica, BK7, sapphire, germanium and infrared window materials.

Integrated equipment development

Mechanical structure, motion control, software and workholding are considered together during machine development.

CNC control

Machine configuration and programming are selected around the required cutting path and production cycle.

Endless diamond wire technology

Continuous one-direction wire motion supports slicing and profiling of hard, brittle materials.

Application-led customization

Equipment size, cutting stroke, fixtures and software functions can be reviewed against the workpiece.

Delivery and support

Sample testing, export packaging and remote support help move a project from evaluation to equipment use.

Customization at each stage

No two workpieces have exactly the same process requirements. A project review can cover:

  • Equipment dimensions and cutting stroke
  • Jigs and fixtures designed around the part
  • Software for slicing, shaping or contour control
  • Interfaces with upstream and downstream operations
  • Sample evaluation before a configuration is finalized

Our diamond wire cutting foundation

Endless diamond wire cutting uses a continuous loop with diamond abrasive. The wire travels in one direction rather than repeatedly reversing.

Wire diameter, tension, speed and feed all affect the cutting result. A suitable setup can help reduce kerf loss and prepare blanks for subsequent optical finishing.

Cutting range and contour capability depend on the selected machine. Final optical surface requirements should be considered together with the grinding and polishing steps.
